We are pleased to offer the following Adult Education Opportunities for our Temple Emanu-El community.

•Film Club
Join our film club in the Blank Chapel for monthly screenings of interesting films. The selection ranges from Israeli box-office hits to Docu-dramas highlighting the Jewish story.
• Gemilut Chasadim - Caring Committee
Members of the Temple Emanu-El stand ready to assist in times of need. If you or someone you know could use a friendly face or voice, a meal or other support or if you would like to be included in the Caring Committee please contact Ann-Lynn Denker.
• Individual Study
Rabbi Geller and Cantor Mordecai are always available to help you design your own study of Jewish Text, Philosophy or Theology.
• Torah on Tap
If you have a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for wisdom then join Cantor Mordecai from Temple Emanu-El or Rabbi Davis from Temple Beth Sholom for a taste of Torah.
• Introduction to Judaism
Rabbi Geller and Cantor Mordecai will teach this course of the whats, hows and whys of Jewish life. Between now and Passover, course participants will learn about the history and culture of the Jewish people, as well as the more common (and not-so-common) observances of our people. Please contact the office at info@tesobe.org to register for the class.
Classes will meet on Thursday evenings from 7-9pm in Sirkin Hall at Temple Emanu-El. The class will also meet on one Shabbat and one additional weeknight toward the end of the program. The specific dates for the additional sessions will be announced in class. Class participants are also encouraged to attend weekly Shabbat worship services.
